Auditorio is the second piano album by Argentine electronic musician Ismael Pinkler, once again performed by Nicolás Bacal. Here, both artists deepen the process initiated in Nocturnos, refining a distinct aesthetic that moves between the post-ambient and the post-impressionist. Through an extensive collaboration focused on score writing and interpretation, the album, composed of 13 pieces spanning diverse moods and structures, ranges from song-like forms to more static ambient passages and intricate, inhuman architectures, ultimately revealing a central trait of the project: these works do not emerge from direct composition at the piano, but from the translation of an experimental electronic musician’s methods, listening, and compositional logic into the acoustic realm.
Within this landscape, Mensajero, the album’s first single, unfolds as a submerged piece that, in just three and a half minutes, carries a suspended, timeless message—like bubbles slowly rising from underwater depths.
