Black Garden is an exercise in time and a space somewhere, a changing polaroid by the Mexican producer Amina Cyu. The recording invites you to explore opaque spaces of the sound spectrum and to listen to subtle phenomena that occur in the density of a palette that compresses an infinite number of colors to arrive at a musical abstraction that absorbs and releases light. Low frequencies, constantly changing bass tones that also reveal brightness and memory. Three sound possibilities that change over time, dissipating distances as they happen, fostering a dialogue between the track themselves that is intimate and introspective.
Amina Cyu is the most recent project of Paulina Lasa, an artist from Mexico City in constant transmutation.
