Federico Crespo discovered Static Discos in Montreal, or vice-versa, a couple of years ago at one of the Mutek Festivals. To our surprise the kid was not only handsome but talented as hell. We are proud to release some tracks of his long stack of demos he had lying around in his failing Macbook Pro. His first EP is a soulful collection of deep jams that mix fresh and minimal improv-like antics with smooth techno and house methods. Federico Crespo currently lives in México City and is readying his second EP for Static Discos.
